Open Heart
My darling child,
there is but one of you in all creation.
Search the ages and comb the skies.
Never before, and never again
will you find another you.
You and I, dear one, have places to go.
As the moon kisses the treetops,
I kiss your intentions one by one,
filling each with light
as your lifted heart flowers.
Your mind stretches to the heavens,
forming the very strings of the lute
my fingers love to strum.
With each breath your fears fade to dust,
revealing the radiance of your smile.
The truth is, my love,
I ache for you.
My creation is not complete
without your touch upon it.
We are like an organza ribbon
carried on a breeze.
We are one graceful, effortless being.
Wherever we go we will arrive as One.
